Cyrus Makarechian

An investor, entrepreneur, and artist who strongly focuses on technology, real estate, and creative industries.

He leads multiple companies, including Moddtech, a premier software design firm in Mexico. He is a shareholder in Globexplore and its subsidiaries and various mineral exploration, construction, and real estate development entities. With over 20 years of experience in company infrastructure, information technology, and finance, he was previously a Partner and Executive VP/CTO of Makar Properties, overseeing over $2 billion in assets.

Beyond his business ventures, Cyrus is a musician and producer known as “cyrusrex,” having toured globally and opened for Depeche Mode in 2018. His passion for music and art extends into investments in manufacturing companies specializing in synthesizer design and vinyl record production in Los Angeles. His diverse portfolio reflects a commitment to innovation, technology, and creative expression.
